You start by bike from Quito through the cloud forest towards the coast, ie you cross different climatic zones on the western slope of the Andes chain. Hardly back in the highlands, we head south on the road to the volcanoes. The Cotopaxi National Park offers fascinating scenic impressions. From the bike you can let the beautiful landscapes pass you by at a leisurely pace. After a detour to the Quilotoa crater, the route leads to the foot of the highest Ecuadorian, the 6310 m high Chimborazo. Then it goes down the western slope of the Andes chain to Baños. An enormous climate change: from the cool highlands to the humid subtropical warmth, from the barrenness of the Andes to the lush vegetation. You will discover another flora and fauna, enjoy relaxation in the jungle and in the hot springs of Papallacta.
