Life happens, we understand. With Inca Expert Travel, you can plan your dream vacation with peace of mind knowing that we offer the most flexible postponement terms in the market.
You receive:
- Free Postponements. Trips can be postponed up to 30 days before arrival date for free.
- Flexible Dates. Postpone without committing to specific dates. You may choose your new travel dates at a later time.
- Personal Assistance. Your personal travel advisor will take care of all the postponement logistics, so you can relax and travel when the time’s right for you.
- Inflation. For trips postponed during 2022 or later, standard inflation rates apply. You can calculate inflation rates using this neutral inflation calculator.

*In the case that your itinerary includes a portion of the Inca Trail, postponement fees will be charged per trekking provider policies. Please ask your travel advisor for details.

In fact, we have carefully negotiated with our partners and local providers to adapt our postponement policies to be the most flexible in the market so you may plan, book and travel with ease.
*Notes:
- International and domestic airfare is not applicable. Inca Expert Travel will use the airline’s postponement and cancellation policies. In most cases, a $20 change fee and difference in airfare applies.
- A very select few hotels and cruises have different postponement terms. Your travel advisor will make you aware of these exceptions at the time of booking. These will be reviewed case by case and negotiated with the hotel/cruise.
- Please note that for large groups (e.g. 10 or more traveling together) or special quotes and services, different postponement deadlines may apply.
- The above terms are valid for postponements only.
- This policy applies to all new bookings beginning October 1st, 2021.
